Terms and Conditions
By scheduling an appointment with HomeGrown Cycles, LLC, you agree to the following terms and conditions. These policies help protect both our business and our customers, and ensure clarity in the services we provide.
1. Services Provided
HomeGrown Cycles, LLC offers mobile bicycle repair services including, but not limited to, tune-ups, brake adjustments, part replacements, tire changes, and restorations. We reserve the right to refuse service if a bicycle is deemed unsafe or beyond repair.
2. Estimates
Before work begins, we will provide an estimate based on visible issues and information provided. If unexpected problems arise during the repair process, we may update the estimate before proceeding. Approval from the customer will be required for any additional work.
3. Appointment & Payment Terms
A $25 non-refundable pickup and delivery fee is charged when scheduling your appointment. This fee is retained unless HomeGrown Cycles, LLC cancels or reschedules the appointment. If the customer is a no-show, the $25 fee will not be refunded.
Payment for all repairs is due upon delivery of the serviced bike. We accept Venmo, credit/debit cards, and cash.
4. Service Warranty
We offer a 14-day workmanship guarantee on all repairs. This guarantee covers labor and installation-related issues. It does not cover normal wear and tear, damage caused by improper use or storage, or issues involving used or customer-supplied parts.
5. Customer Responsibilities
The customer is responsible for ensuring the bike is accessible at the scheduled time and location. After service, the customer agrees to inspect and test the bicycle before resuming regular use. HomeGrown Cycles, LLC is not responsible for injuries, damages, or losses that occur after the bicycle has been returned.
6. Customer-Supplied or Used Parts
At your request, we may install used or customer-supplied parts. However, we do not offer any guarantee or warranty on these parts or their compatibility with your bike.
7. Limitation of Liability
HomeGrown Cycles, LLC is not liable for pre-existing damage, theft, or damage after the bike is returned. We are also not responsible for injuries or damages caused by the use or misuse of a bicycle after it has been serviced.
8. Privacy Policy
We respect your privacy. Customer information is never sold or shared, and will only be disclosed if required by law.
9. Photos & Marketing
We may take non-identifying photos of your bicycle for social media or promotional use. Please inform us if you would prefer not to have your bike photographed.
10. Agreement
By scheduling a service appointment and checking the confirmation box, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms and Conditions.
